It's supper time

Pork steak served with twice baked sweet potatos and green beans. Pork was seasoned with a pork rub and worcestshire sauce, cooked on skillet until golden brown. Potatos were baked, mashed with butter and cream cheese. Some cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger added then baked some more. Beans cooked with butter and minced garlic.
Meal tasted good. I wasn't very satisfied with the sweet potatos. They were ok, but not great.

It's supper time

Steak and Bleu Cheese quesadilla's at the Los Cabos restaurant.
I like quesadilla, mostly chicken but I try all types. So I tried these out, since I like both Bleu Cheese an steak I figure can't be bad. The Bleu was like a punch in da face and I was all in it. These would not be for the weak as the flavor is strong. I washed them down with a Dos Equis Amber.

It's supper time

Tonight is pork steak cooked on a skillet with green onions, minced garlic, and worcesteshire sauce. Don't overcook it, I cooked until it was a light pink in middle. Served with mac & cheese, applesauce. The pork was buttery and very tender.

Gallery opening

I went to a friends gallery opening tonight.
"Deceptively Sweet" by Allison Lackner at the Circle Cinema.
Scale replicas in Ceramic. The exhibition will be on display until mid May.
I liked the art work concept and attention to detail. Allison has a unique perception that is just like the title she assigned to her work. Go check it out if you are in the area. http://www.circlecinema.com/gallery/allison-lackner-s-deceptively-sweet

It's supper time

Tonight is Cilantro Chicken. I checked the cupboard and came up with a chicken breast, some frozen bell peppers, and fresh cilantro.  I searched for recipe with those ingredients, I found something close. It called for rice, but I had pasta. Served with spinach and white grenache.
It was light and. Very tasty. I inhaled the dish and smack the lips.

It's supper time

I had made a large batch of taco meat a couple nights before. I made enchiladas with the meat. I added avocado slices and cilantro leaves for some flavor variety. Served with black beans. I found it very refreshing and tasty.
